Giant Riverwalk, Philadelphia, PA:
I had a horrible experience in that store after having shopped there since they opened. On Monday, I went there after I left the office and finished working out at the gym.

I live nearby. After I paid for my purchases, two young, very skinny black men approached me and demanded I open my bag while they checked my receipt. After they realized they had made a mistake, and after I told them they should make sure someone is a shoplifter before approaching them, they both literally ran off. I walked to customer service, near the escalators, to ask a manager what just happened and why.

The clerk was off-putting, telling me the managers, Jessica and Mike, were unavailable. The one skinny black man who had accosted me came over and stood there staring at me while I was waiting for a manager who never came. Then he walked off. The location is great, but the level of help working there is out of their element.

We will go back to shopping at Giant, 20 miles out of Philadelphia, from now on. The experience at the Riverwalk Giant Supermarket was terrifying.

Morning Pharmacy employee needs customer service training. She takes great pleasure out of making sure pharmacy patients are miserable.

Her constant nasty comments to each patient including myself. She is very disrespectful and wont let you finish their comments including myself. Ive seen this happen to everyone. I go to the pharmacy's in late afternoon to avoid her.

Today because I had a question about my med for the pharmacist. He told me to come back to get my medicine in 20 minutes. I came back 30 minutes. Because she was angry I didnt check in with her.

She refused to tell me if my med was ready and she doesnt know when it will be. I went back to that pharmacist to check, he found it on desktop for pickup.

I was not satisfied when I hung up the phones very disappointed and Giants food not just their representing but not taking responsibility regardless the third party was instacard but the answer is that he gave me was not satisfied and I don't understand I talked to instacart they didn't resolve the issue cuz they wouldn't come back and get the food My food was left outside on a cement sidewalk with people you on a and do drugs and everything then I was missing a couple items and y'all need to take responsibility sometimes You're the one that hire instacart to do this no reason so to make it easy for people but it's not easy when you don't get your food half the time and also when you leave food with people urinator

On feb 19th,2024, I purchased 2 cans of store brand French style green beans. Expiration date of December 2025. One can was perfect. When I opened the second can it contained a mold spore. I spoke with giant customer service on March 7th,2024. I showed them photos. Their response was "it happens" I then questioned how it happens on a perfectly non dented can. To which I was informed that "maybe something went into the can that wasn't suppose to." Which i then questioned why there isn't an opened recall on the product then. They could not give me an answer. They did not offer me a replacement or my money back. Just told "it happens" If there is a production issue of some sort, the company is unaware due to lack of diligence from the service desk and without being aware, production issues can and will continue to occur causing someone to fall ill or worse.

The store I complained about is so ghetto I will typically drive to another neighborhood so I do not have to deal with rudeness, ignorance, loud arguing amongst employees and food that is NOT fresh. I am glad there is a customer service department to offer concerns and complaints
